These 2 go together like summer days & dips in the pool. Absolutely perfect together.

We fell in love with them and Luke’s crazy sense of humour while shooting their e-session and knew that their wedding day would be filled with laughs and unpredictable antics (curtesy of Luke of course). We weren’t wrong!

Their love of adventure and travel was perfectly conveyed with their super cute flight ticket inspired invitations:

I adore peonies, they’re my favourite type of flower and in June when they bloom there’s always a vase or two around the house to enjoy. I possibly may have taken a few too many of Ania’s gorgeous bouquet:

Loved her dress!

Some quiet moments getting ready.

Luke looking oh-so-handsome!

Since the peonies were in full bloom in the front garden, we picked a few for Ania.

On the way to the church!

We couldn’t have picked a more amazing couple to start the 2012 wedding season for us. Sammy & Fernanda are two of the sweetest, funniest and crazy-madly-in-love people we’ve ever met. The way that Sammy looks at Fernanda gives me goosebumps. We had so much fun photographing their engagement session in Yorkville, and just knew that their wedding would be filled with more good times.

And we weren’t wrong! Check out some of our favs below:

Fernanda’s dress was stunning and fit her perfectly, best of all: pockets!

I loved the bridesmaids’ dresses! One dress that you can wear a million different ways, each girl decided to wrap/twist/tie the dress in whatever style they loved best. The fabric was light and elegant, perfect for a summer wedding 🙂

I know I’m neglecting the boys a bit in this post, so here’s one of my favs of Sammy. Like a boss!

I snuck out of the hotel room with Fernanda for a few minutes alone to snap some quick bridal portraits.

Fernanda, you are beautiful! Congratulations again to you and Sammy, we loved spending the day with you, your family and your crazy friends!

More coming soon…

Mother nature tempered her crazy mood swings and we had a beautiful day to photograph Alicia and Vince’s engagement session. We explored a few different areas in Oakville and laughed so much that my abs are sore today. Thanks for the mini workout guys!

Here’s a few of our favs:

Love these:

So fun, a fallen tree across a little creek:

A quick outfit + location change, and we were back at it.

Our baby girl, who day by day surprises us, and seems less and less of a baby turned 2 on April 19th. We spent the day together, just the 3 of us, visiting parks, and doing what she loves. Watching animals and birds. We stopped by the Arboretum  at RBG and can’t wait to go back again when the Lilacs will be blooming. This would be a beautiful location for an engagement session 🙂

She loves to wear dresses and all things girly, but would never turn down a little tree climbing adventure.

If you’ve ever met + hugged her you’ll know what this feels like:

She’s a fierce hugger, she’ll squeeze you as hard as she possibly can and won’t leg go right away. She gives the best hugs in the world and it’s one of my favourite things about her. They’re often accompanied by little grunts and sounds of clenched teeth. It’s the only way she knows how to hug. She’s intense and we wouldn’t have her any other way.

We kept walking and discovered some beautiful Magnolia trees. Their branches hung low to  the ground and made a perfect little hideaway that she loved exploring.

After a picnic and a little nap we headed to our favourite park for cherry blossoms + baby duck watching, Kariya Park in Mississauga. I think we were too early for the baby ducks, we didn’t’ see any at all but the cherry blossoms were beautiful.

I feel much more comfortable behind the camera… but I will let Laszlo take a few photos of me on occasion, I love this one of Amina and I. I think it may be my new favourite one of the two of us 🙂

No ducklings yet, but we did see lots of turtles!

It was a beautiful and quiet day filled with hugs, and walks and time to reflect on how incredibly lucky we both are to have her in our lives. Happy Birthday Miss Amina Paprika! We love you endlessly! xox
