The ceremony was confirmed to be outdoors and the staff and co-ordinators worked quickly to get all the details perfect before the guests arrived.
The Carriage House at Cambium Farms offered the perfect spot to grab a drink and warm up.

We had been looking forward to their wedding all summer, this was a special wedding for us as you may have read previously, Nadine is Alicia’s younger sister and the only wedding that we photographed this season. ( I did assist quite a few other talented photographers, but chose not take on more wedding clients and enjoy a sort of maternity leave with our second daughter Heidi )
The forecast called for rain and the clouds were low and moody but the rain held off and it was an absolutely beautiful day.
The last time we saw this little monkey she was just a baby!
Kelvin and his attendants arrived at Cambium Farms where we were all crossing our fingers for their outdoor ceremony.

To enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, or maybe even a slow dance with your love… even on one of the busiest, craziest days of your lives.
Reflecting back on the summer we’ve had, I’m happy to say that things moved a little slower, we had more beach days, more mornings with no alarm clocks, and more days enjoying our little family of three. Fall/winter is going to bring a lot of changes, and I’m glad we took some time this summer to just enjoy each other’s company a little more.

We’re not ones to shy away from new experiences and we are thrilled that Ashley and Brad chose us to document their destination (but-not-quite-so-far-away) nuptials in Belleville this past weekend.
But we were a little floored when Ashley suggested climbing a majestic willow tree minutes away from the ceremony site. So here is our beautiful bride, in heels, in a beautiful willow tree:

Remember (a long time ago) when the sun felt warm on your face and you walked around with bare legs? Yeah… me too, barely. It’s the second day of spring and a mini blizzard is trying it’s absolute best to get me down but I won’t let it. Instead I’m going to focus on these lovely and bright images from a beautiful wedding I had the pleasure of photographing alongside Dave of Dave and Charlotte.
I spent some time with Corey and his groomsmen before the ceremony:
The guys got ready at Hotel Le Germain in Toronto. It was a relaxed morning filled with the usual, drinks, cigars and endless jokes.
And then it was time to see his beautiful bride.
Corey and Renee chose to do a “first look” before the ceremony and it was the perfect time to capture a few intimate portraits.
I just love this! “Give a wave of good wishes to the new Mr. and Mrs.” The perfect way for your guests to cheer your walk up the aisle as husband and wife:
Steam Whistle Brewery was beautifully decorated and every little detail was just perfect.
