I feel so incredibly happy when clients come back to me year after year and I witness the growth of their families. From weddings, to maternity, to newborn sessions and beyond. I’ve photographed this sweet family since their oldest daughter Mattea, was only a few months old.

A couple of days ago I visited them once again to document the addition of their 3rd beautiful baby girl, little miss Carina:

Chantal, thank you once again for taking the time, and allowing me to be the one to capture this brief moment for you.

xo,

Cristina

I’m so happy that I followed my curiosity, that I wasn’t scared of failure, that I first picked up a camera and decided that I would do whatever it takes to learn to create beautiful images. Today and tomorrow and 20, 30, 40+ years from now I know this feeling will only intensify. Because of them:

Because I can freeze time for a second, document what I see and create a back-up for my memories (let’s face it I’m the most forgetful person ever)! And because of our beautiful clients, the families that come to us with their stories, their love and we have the privilege of freezing time for them too πŸ™‚

When was the last time you took time for family photos?

(And speaking of family photos… I know we really really need to update the Meet Us page! I can’t wait for spring to come)

xo,

Cristina

I don’t think I can convey my happiness when I see 2 people so in love, so happy, falling head over heels for their new baby. Little Paisley, you are one special, beautiful incredibly loved baby girl.

Lauren and Mike, we are both thrilled for you two and your families. She’s perfect, and I loved the time I had this weekend to snuggle her and take these family photos for you.

You might want to grab a drink and something to snack on.. this is going to be a long post! I couldn’t possibly narrow down the photos to just a few.

Lauren, you are so beautiful:

We photographed Lauren and Mike what seems like ages ago when they said their I Do’s (but really it’s only been 3 years). It’s been amazing to see your family grow, and to see your faces light up like they did on your wedding day!

I’ve decided to move away from more posed/studio newborn photography, and instead photograph new parents, in their home, documenting their space, their growing family as naturally as we photograph weddings. There are many wonderful newborn photographers out there who are incredible at what they do, but images like this move me and inspire me and I’m so happy to offer this type of session to our clients looking for something a little different.

Looks like she’s smiling!

Mike, you’ve got this daddy business all figured out πŸ˜€ Paisley quieted down and fell asleep as soon as you swaddled and cuddled her close to you, she knows she’s in good hands!

More smiles πŸ™‚

I’ll end with my fav photo of the 3 of you:

Thank you for allowing me a little peek at your new love.

I have more, so many more I want to share, but they’ll have to wait until the full gallery goes up here.
