I’m so excited to share Maria and Alex’s engagement photos. We had so much with these two and I can’t wait for their destination wedding in Punta Cana this November!

They’re both sweet and funny with a dash of crazy (the good kind of crazy of course) and just perfect together.

Here’s a few favs from their session:

Love the one on the left, Maria you are gorgeous!

We explored this beautiful park just outside Toronto and found a pebble beach:

Last frame for now, the first in a series of shenanigans:

The rest will be posted in the galleries section! (Soon)

Sometimes your love breaks into your heart…

You have broken into my heart
This time I feel the blues have departed
Nothing can keep me away from this feeling
I know I am simply falling for you

A little sweetness for your tuesday afternoon:

Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic ’til I’m gathered safely in
Lift me like an olive branch and be my homeward dove
Dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love

-Excerpt from “Dance Me To The End Of Love” by Leonard Cohen

It was a perfect day; warm, bright and filled with laughter, endless jokes and the sound of champagne glasses clinking. The Gracewood complex at Kurtz ORchards was the beautiful backdrop to Alex and Alena’s wedding.

We were the first to arrive and took some time to explore the grounds and the 200 year old house on the property. I was immediately filled with a sense of comfort and nostalgia, walking through the orchards brought back memories of my grandparent’s farm at the base of the Romanian Alps.

Some of our favs from this intimate wedding:

The courtyard, complete with an outdoor bar, and tables set up (behind me) with jams and jellies and other goodies from the Kurtz Orchards.

Alex in the outdoor alcove created by these gorgeous trees:

We felt like we were a million miles away from Toronto, walking around and taking in all the beauty around us:

Alena and her twin sister Olga:

So much excitement and anticipation!

Her something blue:

Alena you looked stunning in your dress!

I love the moments that almost take your breath away, like the moment her mother saw her all dressed up:

Laszlo was outside hanging out with the guys:

First kiss as husband and wife!

There’s so many more images I want to include, but I’ll leave you with this last one and save the rest for another post…

Alex and Alena, and everyone at Gracewood, thank you for having us, we enjoyed ourselves immensely and felt like a part of the family 🙂

We knew from our first meeting with these two that their wedding day was going to be filled to the brim with love. It was obvious from the way they looked at each other, from hearing their love story, and from what they asked us for. Unobtrusive photography focused on capturing the moments, their friends and family, and limited posed photos.

Christophe is a French pastry chef, and I could have listened to him talk all day 🙂 Family flew to celebrate with them from all over the world and you could feel the love that exuded from their guests. Almost no dry eyes during the ceremony, and smiles from ear to ear.

Lindsey & Christophe thank you for making us a part of your day, for introducing us to those closest to you, and for filling our hearts just a little bit more.

Here’s a few of our favourite images from their wedding at Le Select:

Lindsey, you looked stunning in your dress!

Le messieurs:

Love the view!

This was our first time at Le Select and we loved it! The restaurant is beautiful and intimate, and the little covered patio is perfect for smaller outdoor weddings. The food was phenomenal and we even explored their famous wine cellar.

I’m skipping forward a few hours with this one, my fav from their day!:

Ok so back to the ladies, we stopped by the grounds at Thompson Toronto, to take a few portraits before walking over to Le Select for the ceremony.

The beautiful bride + the sweetest “something blue” I’ve ever seen. A teeny tiny blue heart on her ring finger:

Ceremony 🙂

We managed to sneak the newlyweds away for a few minutes and left their friends and family to enjoy some drinks and hors d’oeuvres before dinner.

After the ceremony it started raining, so as soon as the rain stopped we took advantage of a little nook we found just outside the restaurant.

Congratulations again!!

Cristina
