Where are you located and do you travel for weddings?

We are located in Mississauga Ontario. We love to travel, the warmer the better! We’ve photographed weddings from Toronto to London locally, and abroad in Jamaica and the Dominican. Local wedding locations that require us to drive farther than 30 minutes are subject to a travel fee.

How many weddings do you book a year?

We only book 20-25 weddings a year, this allows us to give each couple personal and individualized attention. We love getting to know our couples on a deeper level, really connecting with them so that we can truly capture their essence and love on their wedding day.

That’s why each of our wedding packages includes an engagement session. It’s the perfect way to explore and discover what makes each couple unique, and for us to convey that with our images.

Do your clients get the digital files?

Yes! We know how important high resolution digital photos are to our clients so we provide a keepsake DVD from each session. Depending on what package you chose the final number of edited images will vary.

Your photos have a really cool look to them, are they edited?

Yup! We love to take a photo and give it a new spin. Editing is actually one of our favourite parts and the reason we take a bit a longer to deliver your wedding photos than some other photographers. Each photo is uniquely hand processed by Cristina.

Since each couple is unique and special she edits the photos from each session in a way that best suits the specific couple. That means that your photos won’t look like anyone else’s!

How long do we wait to see photos from our wedding?

We usually have a few images (5-10) ready for as a sneak peek a day or 2 after the wedding. For your DVD, each photo is hand selected and edited to tell the story of your wedding day, this process takes us anywhere from 6-8 weeks. All the photo work is done in house at our studio.

How many images will we receive?

The number of final edited high resolution files depends on the type of package you have selected. Please fill out the contact form if you would like more info.

What kind of equipment do you use?

At Geminie Photography we exclusively use Nikon professional gear. We come prepared to each wedding with back-up equipment and everything we need to perfectly capture your day, and deliver remarkable imagine quality in the process. We are constantly investing in our equipment to keep it up to date and current.

How would you describe your photography style?

That’s a tough one! Our images can’t be defined by any one style. We photograph your day as it unfolds in front of our cameras. You’ve planned your wedding day down the smallest detail, infusing everything with your own personality and love for each other.

We’re there to document it all, to capture the interaction between you and your love and your family and friends. Our goal is to tell your story without words. We don’t believe in cookie cutter photos, or “super-cheese” shots as we call them. We won’t ever ask you to look at the camera, smile and say cheese.
