I really have a fantastic knack for picking the coldest days for photo shoots! Today was no exception, super windy, cold, grey skies… and frozen fingers. I’m so glad I did it though, because Cailey was a blast to work with and we got some amazing images! She has the most incredible blue/green/grey eyes, and luckily for her, they match the color shirts she’s wearing! I just love the way her eyes pop here:

Cailey contacted me because she needed new head shots; so we did a mix of standard head shots, and some more fun and natural portraits as well. We started out right by the lake at Spencer Smith Park in Burlington, but it was such a yucky day, the color of the water was less than stellar (murky grey). I love these 2 shots of Cailey, they’re among the firsts I took that day, and they just weren’t doing it for me in color, so I decided that B&W is a much better fit.

You can practically hear her laughing! I love it!. With such a fun and spunky personality I’m sure she’ll have no problems making a living out of her passion whether it be acting, singing or dancing up a storm on stage

Awesome colors:

Love the fun, windblown hair!

Near the end of our shoot, Cailey’s boyfriend came to hang out, and I got some really cute shots of them just playing around on the jungle gym and the park:

It was an awesome day, and even Marco made a new friend:

The crazy eye action makes me laugh every time! Such a cute lil pup… although not quite as cute as Marco lol
it’s okay I’m his mommy, I can say that!

Thanks so much Dan! Yeah it was a really fun day
These are absolutely gorgeous! I love all the colors and the outfit as well. The shots of Cailey and her boyfriend are adorable. My favorites would be the swing and their holding hands. The funniest one would definitely have to be the crazy eyed Marcus! haha that’s so awesome!
Keep up the amazing work, hon!
